The Homecare Association decreed"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>With vaccination against Covid-19 going around the world, most counties put unnecessary pressure on exercise. Only recently, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveincaredirect.org\/our-services\/general-home-care.php\">Homecare<\/a> Association had to come to its defense on the imposed mandatory regulations. The new deployment rule in CQC-regulated care demanded that every employee take the jab, which the association did not agree to entirely.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Covid-19 vaccinations come in three subsequent injections; the first, second, and the third, typically referred to as the Booster. Like the rest of us, homecare agencies, support the vaccination however not with loose ends at least this is the statement from the Homecare Association. At <a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveincaredirect.org\/\">Live-in Care<\/a> Direct, we handle the elderly known to be at high risk of infection, which makes us vigilant of the virus&#8217; spread.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"stop-mandatory-covid-19-vaccination-regulations-on-us\">Stop mandatory Covid-19 Vaccination Regulations on us!&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In an official communication, the Homecare association, in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.homecareinsight.co.uk\/Users\/sarah.clarke.ITP\/Downloads\/2022-01-23-Letter-to-Sajid-Javid-VCOD.pdf\">open letter<\/a>, sent a plea to Sajid Javid, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, asking him to invoke the rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on the regulations, all the home care staff were to receive their first dosages before February 3<sup>rd<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the recently sent letter, the association highlighted evidence indicating that vaccination against <a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveincaredirect.org\/covid-19.php\">COVID-19<\/a> &#8220;<em>does not prevent transmission of infection to a biologically relevant extent<\/em>.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The letter further pointed out that the regulations do not require boosters. A disputing fact is that vaccine immunity weakens after 12 months, meaning it still gives &#8220;insufficient or even zero protection&#8221; against the virus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a>The Homecare Association <\/a>claims that many organisations have tried to comply with the new rule despite having an opposing opinion. The contrast seen is that the vaccine regulations offer more risks, in other words, &#8220;<em>greatly outweigh the alleged benefits<\/em>.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-elderly-are-at-higher-risk-with-the-new-covid-19-vaccine-rules-for-home-caregivers\">The elderly are at higher risk with the new Covid-19 vaccine rules for home caregivers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In information relied on the Homecare Association&#8217;s Health and Social Care Secretary, the elderly are more at risk with the new rules. The secretary expressed the safety and well-being of these people as &#8220;dangerously compromised&#8221; given the imposed policy. Tied to this, the association would lose about 15 to 20% of its workforce, who do not fully buy the regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In support of their arguments, the secretary depicted the new regulations as the government&#8217;s recklessness. Further, there is no evidence convincing that there is a high death rate of people benefiting from home care services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Jane Townson, Homecare Association CEO, said: &#8220;All along, we have strongly supported vaccination against COVID-19, as there is clear evidence it helps to save lives. At the same time, we have consistently argued that persuasion would likely be more successful than compulsion in achieving high vaccine uptake, especially among those with genuine fears. And we have repeatedly stressed the need to balance the mitigated risk of infection with the risk of older and disabled people going without vital care at home.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adding to her statement, the CEO said the following; &#8220;In pressing ahead with regulations requiring vaccination as a condition of deployment in CQC-regulated wider care settings, including home care, we believe the government has seriously misjudged this balance of risk.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Why would we choose to dismiss up to one-fifth of the homecare workforce \u2013 75,000 to 100,000 careworkers \u2013 when there is already severely inadequate homecare capacity to meet demand? We fear for the safety and well-being of older and disabled people when they cannot access vital support from care workers to enable them to live well at home. Who will care for them?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"more-rejection\">More rejection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Esther McVey, Conservative MP, also a concerned party, told Boris Johnson that &#8220;Given that the chief medical officer told MPs that vaccinations have a minimal impact on transmission, isn&#8217;t it the case now that there is no reason at all for mandatory vaccinations for care workers and NHS staff?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Over the last two years, these people have worked tirelessly on the front line, and we have clapped these key workers. Can the Prime Minister now make sure that he doesn&#8217;t sack them?
